In 2025, the European Union will allocate Ukraine 1.5 billion euros every month
The European Union will provide Ukraine with economic and military assistance. In particular, it is planned to allocate 4.2 billion euros to support the Ukrainian budget by the end of the year, and in 2025, the EU will transfer 1.5 billion euros per month to Ukraine.
This was stated by the President of the European Council, António Costa, today in Kyiv during a joint press conference with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"This month, the European Union will provide Ukraine with an additional 4.2 billion euros to support the Ukrainian budget. In addition to this, starting next month (from January. - Ed.), we will provide 1.5 billion euros of aid every month throughout the year. These funds are obtained from the use of frozen Russian assets, and they can also be used for military purposes," said the President of the European Council.
