A new position will appear in the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — procurement officer.

This was announced by military procurement expert Yevheniy Silvestrov on his Facebook page.

"The Minister of Defence made the decision upon the proposal of the General Staff, and this is a real breakthrough. Those who follow my publications know that my team and I have been working on this for over a year. And here it is — the result! This is not just a symbolic step, but a real progress towards professional procurement in the Armed Forces," he emphasized.

Silvestrov also expressed gratitude to everyone who was involved in this process, as well as to the team that made it possible.

He added that this decision "will have a fundamental significance for future significant changes."
