The true guarantor of our security is the Armed Forces of Ukraine, - Zelenskyy

Today, December 6, Ukraine celebrates Armed Forces Day. It is the Ukrainian military personnel who are the first and true guarantor of our country’s security.

This was reported with reference to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a festive event on the occasion of the Armed Forces Day of Ukraine.

As the president noted, there are two dates in Ukrainian history that stand side by side in the calendar but have different meanings and two different lessons that our people have learned - the signing of the Budapest Memorandum (December 5) and the Armed Forces Day of Ukraine (December 6).

 

"Today we clearly understand that the true, foremost, most effective, and most reliable guarantor of our security is the Armed Forces of Ukraine," he added.
