In the Sumy region, a couple was killed as a result of an enemy airstrike

On December 11, Russian aviation launched a new strike on the village of Bilovody, within the Khotyn community of Sumy district. As a result of the attack, a couple was killed: a 55-year-old man and his 65-year-old wife.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General. The enemy attack completely destroyed the house of the deceased.

The bodies of the couple were found by law enforcement officers amidst the wreckage of their private property.

The Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office has already begun a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, which led to the death of people (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region, along with prosecutors, are documenting the consequences of this crime for future use in international courts.
