The schedules of power outages in Ukraine will operate in a new way
The principles of using hourly outage schedules for the population have been changed in all regions of Ukraine.
As reported by the press service of "Ukrenergo" in Telegram, they are designed for more accurate and even distribution of restrictions among the regions. From now on, for residential consumers, each queue of the hourly power outage schedule will be further divided into two sub-queues:
"For example, if the outage of one queue is too large, the dispatcher can give a command to disconnect 0.5 of the queue or 2.5 of the queue if 2 queues are not enough."
Unified schedules aim to provide each group of consumers, defined by the distribution system operator (oblenergo), with a clear time for applying restrictions, considering the most fair distribution by criteria such as day/night, weekday/weekend.
Additionally, control over the execution of power limitation schedules for the industry is being strengthened. "If enterprises/legal entities do not comply with the command to apply the industry power limitation schedule, distribution system operators must independently apply emergency outage schedules to those consumers connected to their networks. The transmission system operator must apply emergency outage schedules to those consumers connected to the main networks," added "Ukrenergo."
