In the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration, rumors about a Russian offensive on Zaporizhzhya were refuted
The head of the Zaporizhzhya region, Ivan Fedorov, stated that rumors about a potential advance on Zaporizhzhya have been spreading since March and are enemy informational and psychological operations.
He reported this during a briefing.
"We see what is happening with the military situation. We have been intimidated since September, if I’m not mistaken, that an advance on Zaporizhzhya is coming. In October—an advance on Zaporizhzhya, in November—they have already moved, and in December—everything, we are packing our bags. All of this is an information-psychological operation (PSYOPS) to which the public reacts," said the head of the Regional Military Administration.
At the same time, Fedorov emphasized that in the village of Komyshuvakha, located 20 kilometers from the front line, they consciously decided not to start the construction of an underground school, as this could lead to "incorrect assessments".
"To avoid making the construction of schools toxic, we have put the construction on pause and will decide together with the Kushuhum community, perhaps we will transport children from there," he explained.
The head of the Regional Military Administration noted that this is the only educational institution for which funds are allocated, but the work has deliberately not begun. A decision regarding further actions on construction is planned to be made in January 2025.
