He emphasized that there are two different explanations for the situation. The first, as Popovych noted, is the General Staff’s data mentioning countermeasures.

"Focusing on the deterioration of the situation or saying something that would help the enemy worsen the situation means playing into the enemy’s hands," the observer explained.

The second, according to him, is unofficial evidence indicating a very difficult situation in this area. At least, logistics are severely complicated, which can be viewed as an operational encirclement. This was the situation as of yesterday.

"A narrow strip has formed there, and they are surrounded on all sides. Essentially, they are in a gray zone. Fighting continues in a small radius from the encirclement. If the enemy manages to close the ring, a physical encirclement will occur. Then it will be a matter of de-blocking our units and trying to withdraw them," Popovych said.
