Ukraine received a tranche of 4.1 billion euros from the EU

The European Commission provided Ukraine with a tranche of 4.1 billion euros as part of the Ukraine Facility program. The total amount of aid in 2024 reached 16.1 billion euros.

This was reported by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on X.

"This support reflects Ukraine’s significant progress in key reforms outlined in the Plan for Ukraine, from fighting corruption to energy and environmental protection," he said.

According to him, the continuous support from the EU under the Ukraine Facility program until 2027 for 50 billion euros strengthens Ukraine’s resilience and advances us on the path to EU membership.

As reported by the Ministry of Finance, the funds will be directed to the priority needs of the state budget in social and humanitarian spheres.

The Ukraine Facility program provides for about 12.5 billion euros of financial support for 2025.
