In the evening of December 18, Russian invaders carried out a missile strike on the city of Romny in the Sumy region. As a result of the attack, residential buildings were damaged.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.

«In the evening of December 18, 2024, after 9 PM, the city of Romny suffered a missile strike from the enemy. As a result of the attack, 9 residential buildings were damaged,» the report states.

According to preliminary data, there are no casualties. In addition, a headquarters for eliminating the consequences of the enemy attack was promptly established in the Romny community. Residents of the damaged homes have been offered temporary accommodation in local dormitories.

Emergency services are working at the site of the attack.
