Zelenskyy dismissed the Deputy Head of the President’s Office Mashovets
On December 30, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved the dismissal of the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak Roman Mashovets.
The relevant decree has already been published on the website of the Head of State.

Mashovets was responsible for military affairs in the Presidential Office.
He held the position of Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine since April 22, 2020.
According to information from open sources, Mashovets graduated from the Military-Diplomatic Academy. He is a veteran of military intelligence and special operations.
After completing military school, he began his service in the naval special forces as a combat swimmer.
He served in the special forces unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, as part of the peacekeeping mission in Sierra Leone, and also with the Ukrainian contingent in Iraq.
Since July 2014, he has been engaged in organizing military-technical assistance for the Ukrainian army. He participated in the creation of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and is a co-author of the Law on the creation of the Special Operations Forces.
In November 2022, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy included Roman Mashovets in the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Staff.
In January 2024, he was included in the Ukrainian delegation for negotiations with other countries regarding the preparation of agreements on providing Ukraine with security guarantees, led by the Head of the Presidential Office Yermak.
