In the declarations register, the operation of one of the functions has been suspended
The "Data for Declaration" function is temporarily not working due to technical problems with the Ministry of Justice registers. However, this should not be an obstacle to filing declarations in 2025. It is recommended to collect data independently and wait for the registers to be restored.
This was reported by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP). Due to disruptions in the work of the Ministry of Justice registers, it is impossible to ensure data exchange necessary for generating the "Data for Declaration" certificate.
According to the NACP, this may significantly extend the time required to obtain such a certificate or make it impossible to generate it until the registers’ stable operation is restored. Meanwhile, all other functions of the Unified State Register of Declarations continue to operate as usual.
Impact on the Declaration Process
Starting from January 1, 2025, the annual declaration campaign for public officials in Ukraine will begin and last until March 31, 2025. NACP recommends those who need to urgently file a declaration to independently collect all necessary data for document completion.
Causes of Disruptions
In December 2024, Ukraine experienced a large-scale cyber attack from Russia aimed at state registers. The attackers tried to disrupt the operation of critically important infrastructure, including registers administered by the Ministry of Justice. This caused disruptions that have not yet been completely resolved.
What to Do if You Need a Certificate
- collect the necessary data manually by contacting the relevant institutions;
- follow official NACP announcements regarding the resumption of the function.
NACP emphasizes the importance of adhering to cybersecurity when working with registers. Verify information on official resources and avoid using suspicious websites.
