Sybiha spoke about what Ukraine expects from Poland’s presidency in the EU
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andriy Sybiha, explained what Ukraine expects from Poland’s presidency in the European Union, which began on January 1, 2025.
This became known from the Ukrainian minister’s post on X (Twitter).
According to him, in the first half of 2025, Ukraine hopes for Polish leadership, a principled stance, and decisiveness.
Sybiha expressed hope for strengthening cooperation with his Polish counterpart Radosław Sikorski "to advance the EU-Ukraine agenda."
"We hope for new initiatives to strengthen military support for Ukraine and increase sanctions pressure on the aggressor. We strive for a dynamic process of Ukraine’s accession to the EU, including the opening of cluster 1 and other clusters in the screening process," he noted.
