The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are attempting to bypass Pokrovsk: there are no battles in the city

This was reported by the spokesperson of the Operational-Strategic Grouping of Forces "Khortytsia," Viktor Trehubov, on the air of a telethon.

"Urban battles are not being conducted in the city. The Russians have not reached the city limits, but they are trying to encircle it through neighboring populated areas and villages, penetrating with various groups and accumulating forces for further actions to bypass the city. UAV activity is also active; all the equipment activity that the Russians currently have is concentrated in the area of the city of Pokrovsk," he said.

Regarding the possible semicircle encirclement of Pokrovsk from the south, the spokesperson noted that the city is well-fortified, so the Russians do not risk frontal assaults. Meanwhile, the enemy is conducting urban battles in other directions, particularly in Chasiv Yar and Kurakhove.

According to the spokesperson of OSUV "Khortytsia," the occupying forces are trying to bypass Pokrovsk and disrupt the infrastructural chains of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
