The Ukrainian Armed Forces are still receiving defective mines despite the recent scandal. Videos featuring complaints from the military are published by the editor-in-chief of Censor, Yuriy Butusov.

In the footage, soldiers of the 151st Brigade open boxes with mines and claim that one of them contains faulty detonators. They say they encounter such defects «almost daily».

«The Ministry of Strategic Industries continues to send defective mines to the front. Minister of Strategic Industry Herman Smetanin claimed that his enterprises had supposedly produced only one batch of defective mortar mines, which was replaced, and everything was resolved. This is blatant lies. Mortar men of the 151st, 155th, and 59th Brigades continue to massively receive thousands of defective mines from the Ministry of Strategic Industries. No one removes or replaces these mines, and the production of defects continues», comments Butusov.
