This morning, the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed the supposed "liberation" of the Ukrainian city of Kurakhove, which is the largest populated area in the southwestern part of the Donetsk region.

"It’s impossible to assess the area of the city as a percentage during battles. However, I can note that as of this morning, fighting was ongoing within its boundaries, so the enemy definitely rushed with claims of capturing the city," Trehubov said.
