Ukrainian defenders in southern Ukraine destroyed two Russian Buk surface-to-air missile systems
During combat operations, Ukrainian military destroyed two Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile systems in the south of the country. The Russians continue to fire on the positions of our troops and frontline settlements.
This was reported by the Southern Defence Forces.
In the past day, during combat operations in southern Ukraine, the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed two Buk-M3 surface-to-air missile systems, a launch-charging unit, 7 armored vehicles, 9 reconnaissance drones, and other equipment.
Nearly 300 enemy attacks with various types of artillery were recorded over the past day. In the south, the enemy launched 442 strikes with various modifications of FPV drones, including up to a dozen loitering munition strikes of the "Lancet" type, dropping 372 fragmentation munitions.
The Russians do not cease their assault actions, attempting to break through our defence line. Thus, in the past day, 3 assaults were recorded in the Dnieper direction. Additionally, residential areas in the city of Kherson and Temyrivka in the Zaporizhzhya region were struck by guided aerial bombs using 6 GABs.
In the Huliaipole and Orikhiv directions, the enemy continues personnel rotation activities, moving them closer to the line of engagement. The occupiers are also conducting engineering and aerial reconnaissance of routes for advancing assault forces and are upgrading equipment with electronic warfare systems.
