Last year, utility bills increased by 20%

In December 2024, the average prices for housing maintenance, water, electricity, gas, and other types of fuel in Ukraine rose by 18.9% compared to December 2023.

This is attributed to the increase in electricity prices. This was reported by the State Statistics Service.

According to the statistical agency, the following tariffs increased:

- for housing maintenance and repair - by 3.9%,

- for waste disposal - by 8.9%,

- for services related to the management of apartment buildings - by 11.2%,

- for electricity - by 63.6%.

Meanwhile, tariffs for natural gas, hot water, and heating remained unchanged. Tariffs for water supply and sewage also remain stable.
