The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on intense battles in Chasiv Yar

The representative of the operational-strategic troop grouping "Khortytsia," Viktor Trehubov, reported that active urban battles are currently ongoing in Chasiv Yar. Ukrainian forces are succeeding, but the Russians are advancing.

He stated this on a television broadcast.

"Active urban battles are currently ongoing in Chasiv Yar. The enemy is again trying to break through to the refractory materials plant. Ukrainian soldiers are trying to counter them and are currently succeeding, inflicting significant losses on them. The enemy’s tactics are quite straightforward: they attempt to regroup, gather strength, and attack again each time," Trehubov said.

According to him, this kind of fighting has been going on there for a long time - the Russians are amassing forces, moving along the canal, trying to reach the refractory materials plant, but Ukrainian military are holding them back.
