Martial law and mobilization in Ukraine have been extended

Today, January 15, the Verkhovna Rada again extended the martial law and general mobilization for another 90 days. This is the fourteenth time since the start of the full-scale war.

This was reported by the People’s Deputy from the "Holos" party, Yaroslav Zheleznyak. Now, the martial law in the country will last until May 9, 2025.

315 members of parliament voted for its extension. Meanwhile, only 310 deputies expressed their support for the extension of mobilization in Ukraine.

At the same time, People’s Deputy Venislavskyi noted that demobilization during the war in the country is not envisaged until Ukrainian territories are liberated.
