The Air Force demonstrated work on enemy UAVs in the east

The Air Force of Ukraine has once again confirmed its high professionalism by repelling a massive attack of Russian drones and missiles in the eastern part of the country. A moment of destroying enemy UAVs, which posed a threat to the civilian population and critical infrastructure, was shown online.

The "East" Command published the relevant video. On the night and morning of January 15, Russia launched a combined strike, deploying over a hundred weapons, including ballistic missiles, air and sea-launched cruise missiles, as well as Shahed-type attack drones.

Despite the massive attack, Ukrainian air defence successfully destroyed 77 targets, including 47 drones and 30 missiles.

In the Sumy region, 11 drones were shot down, and in the Cherkasy region, debris from a destroyed "Shahed" damaged several houses and a car, but no casualties were reported. Russian forces also attacked energy facilities in the Kharkiv, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, causing damage to infrastructure.

The defence of Ukraine’s skies is the result of coordinated efforts by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups.
