DeepState: The occupiers have closed the "pocket" in Velyka Novosilka, there is advancement in Toretsk

In Velyka Novosilka, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are holding two districts in the northern part of the settlement, as reflected on the DeepState map. The command reported repelling nine attacks by the Russian Armed Forces.

Russian troops have occupied the village of Vremivka and have made advances in Velyka Novosilka. Additionally, Russian forces managed to capture several areas in Toretsk and advance towards Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka. Details of the Russian offensive as of January 26 are published in a report by DeepState project analysts on their Telegram channel.

Russian Offensive — battles in Donbas on January 26

Novopavlivka direction. Analysts have adjusted the front lines between Vremivka and Velyka Novosilka. Data as of January 26 indicates the closing of the "pocket" where Ukrainian units were semi-surrounded by Russian troops. DeepState channel reported that the village of Vremivka is fully occupied (previously, the fighting was on the eastern outskirts). Moreover, the enemy has almost 100% occupied Velyka Novosilka; only two districts in the north remain free.

 

 

Toretsk direction. In Toretsk, Russian troops advanced on the southern outskirts in the Zabalka district. Approximately, they managed to advance about 500 meters. The configuration of the "tongues" directed from the center to the northwest remained unchanged, as confirmed by the DeepState map.

Pokrovsk direction. In this area of the front, Russian troops advanced in three districts: Kotlyne (5 km west of Pokrovsk), near Nadiivka and Petropavlivka. Furthermore, analysts clarified data concerning the situation near Slavyanka. According to DeepState, the battle line was moved 1 km eastward: the previously recorded enemy advance was canceled.
