The situation on the front: 125 engagements in the past day, with the highest activity in the Pokrovsk direction
On January 30, there were 125 combat engagements on the front. Russian occupiers were particularly active in the Pokrovske direction, where they launched more than 50 attacks on Ukrainian positions. Overall, Russian forces conducted 44 airstrikes using 88 guided aerial bombs (GAB). In addition, the aggressor employed 1007 kamikaze drones for strikes on Ukrainian positions and conducted over 4600 shellings on settlements and Ukrainian military forces.
In the Kharkiv direction, one clash occurred near Liptsi, and there was an airstrike in the Kozacha Lopan area. At the same time, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions three times in the Kupyansk direction, near Petropavlivka, Zahrizove, and Nova Kruglyakivka. All attacks were repelled by Defense forces units.
In the Lyman direction, Russian forces carried out several attacks on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Kopanky, Balka Zhuravka, Yampilivka, Zelenaya Dolyna, Terny, and Kolodyazi. Our troops successfully repelled nine enemy attacks, but these areas suffered airstrikes.
In the Siverskyi direction, the enemy made nine attempts to displace Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Bilohorivka and Verkhnokamyanske, all of which were unsuccessful. Russia also conducted airstrikes on the areas of Dronivka and Siversk.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled ten attempts by the invaders to advance towards Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Stupochky, Chasiv Yar, and Predtechyne. At the same time, Russian airstrikes targeted the areas of Fedorivka, Tykhonivka, and Bilokuzmynivka.
In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers launched 13 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Dahliivka, Shcherbynivka, and Krymske. One engagement continues. The enemy also bombarded Shcherbynivka, Katerynivka, Kleban-Byk, and Ivanopil, using guided aerial bombs.
The highest number of attacks was observed in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russians conducted 51 attacks in the areas of Malynivka, Yelizavetivka, Vodyane Druhe, Novotoretske, Promin, Pokrovsk, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Udachne, Yaseneve, Shevchenko, and Dachne. Seven clashes are still ongoing. Simultaneously, guided aerial bombs targeted Bilytske.
As a result of combat in the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces suffered 337 personnel casualties, either killed or wounded. Ten vehicles, one UAV antenna, a satellite communication device, two EW systems, one ATGM, and three operational-tactical UAVs were destroyed. Additionally, the Russians suffered significant equipment losses, including damage to two mortars.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the occupiers launched one attack in the area of Kostyantynopil, and airstrikes on the settlements of Rozliv and Komar.
In the Hulyaipole direction, the aggressor attempted to push Ukrainian units from their positions in the areas of Novopil and Novosilka. Ternove and Temyrivka were affected by enemy airstrikes.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct any active operations.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian invaders made seven attempts to displace Ukrainian military forces from their positions, without success. After sustaining losses, the enemy retreated.
In the Kursk direction, Ukraine’s Defence forces continue operations, repelling invader attacks. Ukrainian forces repelled 11 enemy attacks while the aggressor’s aviation conducted 12 airstrikes on their own territory, dropping 16 GABs.
Overall, the situation at the front remains tense, with a high number of engagements and combat operations. Russian forces have sustained significant losses as a result of these clashes, and Ukrainian forces continue to actively repel the aggressor’s attacks.
