In Odesa, representatives of the Norwegian diplomatic mission were at the epicenter of the strike, – Zelenskyy

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the missile strike carried out by Russian forces on the historic center of Odesa on the evening of January 31. According to preliminary data, the Russian army used ballistic missiles for the attack. Foreign diplomats were present in the impact zone at the time of the explosion.

The head of state stated this on his Telegram channel.

"It was a deliberate strike by Russian terrorists. Fortunately, there were no casualties. There are injured persons who have received necessary assistance. Among those present at the epicenter of the explosion were representatives of the Norwegian diplomatic mission. All the circumstances of the strike are currently being clarified. We are doing everything possible to help the victims," Zelenskyy said.

Currently, rescue operations and assessments of the damage are underway. Relevant services are determining the details and consequences of the attack.
