Deputy Head of the Odesa Customs Alyeksyeyev uses cars owned by his parents

This became known from the media based on the official’s declaration data for the years 2015-2025.

Alyeksyeyev repeatedly headed the Odesa customs, even during the times of Viktor Yanukovych.

In the declarations, Alyeksyeyev indicates that he is the head of the customs post at Odesa customs, but since 2024, he serves as the deputy head. At the same time, the official declared Kyiv as his place of residence, although he should be in Odesa. He does not state any property in Odesa in last year’s declaration, not even rented.

In Kyiv, the official and his wife Zhanna have a land plot of 752 sq. m, which they have owned since 1999. Also, his wife owns half of an apartment in Kyiv measuring 124.5 sq. m since 2012. The other part belongs to Lyudmyla Avizba. Furthermore, Alekseyev has, for a long time (since 2000), formally declared an allegedly unfinished country house of 303.6 sq. m in Kyiv.

It’s interesting how Mr. Customs Officer declares vehicles: in January 2024, he declared the right to use a Lexus RX200T (2017) of unknown value, which belongs to his retired mother Halyna Alyeksyeyeva.

In previous declarations, the official stated that he has been using a Lexus GS-250 (2012) since 2012, which is registered to his father Vitaliy Alyeksyeyev. In Odesa, a relative registered an apartment of 209.7 sq. m (in 2009) and a parking space of 18 sq. m (in 1999).

In 2024, the customs officer noted that he received 500,000 hryvnias from the customs as security. His wife did not declare any income. Alyeksyeyev, possibly by mistake, stated that he has 20 million hryvnias, but it is a mathematical error — he officially has 2 million hryvnias in cash.

Overall, if the NACP checks the lifestyle of Alyeksyeyev and his relatives from the 1990s to today, it will find many interesting things.
