On the Pokrovsk direction, a group of Russian assault troops surrendered
Ukrainian soldiers captured a group of Russian invaders with the help of a drone in the Pokrovsk direction.
This was reported by the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade, which published the corresponding video.
"The special operation to destroy enemy positions and morally and psychologically exhaust enemy infantry lasted several days," explained the Ukrainian paratroopers.
As a result, nine invaders surrendered to the drone waving a white flag, which was equipped with a loudspeaker.
According to a fighter from the 25th OADB with the call sign Malyar, the drone circled for approximately three days with recorded messages to the occupiers suggesting they surrender.
"Nine people. We drove out everyone who was supposed to attack us. Everyone is coming to surrender," commented one of the fighters from the 25th OADB, observing the Russians with a white flag.
One of the captured Russians now hopes he will be included in the exchange lists and perhaps move to the taiga afterward.
"Yes, I hope for an exchange and hope to somehow get in touch. After that, I don’t know, maybe go to the taiga," says the prisoner in the video.
According to him, he entered the Donetsk region on January 22 and surrendered in less than two weeks.
