Dykyi explained the Russian offensive by a column in Kursk region
The nature of the war in the Kursk region differs from the fighting in the Donetsk or Kharkiv regions.
This was stated by military expert Yevhen Dykyi on the air of "Radio NV" broadcast.
"Kursk is the only territory where we managed to impose maneuver warfare on the enemy. The nature of the war there is similar to what it was in 2022 in Kyiv region, Chernihiv region. It seems that due to the similarity of the war to the beginning of 2022, some Russians decided that back then it was their success story. And then we saw such columns left and right, someone had déjà vu. He decided that it was February 2022 and sent them forward, as then," said Dykyi.
He also expressed surprise at such a decision by the Russian leadership in light of the acute shortage of armored vehicles in Russia.
"This is some nonsense, a psychological attack. When dozens of armored vehicles, and I remind you, the Russians are now facing a severe shortage of armored vehicles. They didn’t start using donkeys in their logistics for a good reason. They have a very acute crisis with iron, critically lacking armored vehicles. And suddenly, such a parade, dozens of units, which, under red flags, drove to death across a mined field. This parade column was just as parade-like destroyed," added Dykyi.
