The situation on the front: During the day, there were 139 combat engagements

This was announced by the spokesperson of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalyov, on the TV broadcast.

"In total, there were 139 combat engagements over the past day," Kovalyov noted.

According to him, on the Kharkiv direction, the enemy twice unsuccessfully tried to advance in the Vovchansk area.

In the Kupyansk direction, there were ten attacks by the occupiers over the past day. Defence forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions near the settlements of Topoly, Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Zahryzove, and in the direction of Novoosinove.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian army attacked six times. The enemy tried to advance near Zarichne and Yampilivka.

In the Siversk direction, our troops repelled an enemy attack in the Bilohorivka area.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy carried out six attacks on our positions near Chasiv Yar, without achieving success.

On the Toretsk direction last day, the Russians attacked Ukrainian units five times near Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction last day, our defenders stopped 55 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of Myroliubivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promine, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Nadiivka, Yaseneve, Ulakly, Andriivka, and Dachne.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 23 attacks by invaders in the area of Novosilka, Rivnopil, Novyi Komar, and in the directions of Kostyantynopol and Burlatske.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled two attacks in the area of Shcherbaky and Nesteryanka.

In the Kursk region over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 13 attacks by the Russians, and the enemy also launched 27 airstrikes using 30 GABs and conducted 573 shelling, 11 of which were MLRS.

On other directions, the enemy did not conduct active offensive actions.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, signs of the enemy forming assault groups have not been detected.

The spokesperson of the General Staff also reported that, according to updated information, yesterday the enemy inflicted one missile and 71 airstrikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using two missiles and 99 KABs, engaged 2923 kamikaze drones. In addition, the Russian army carried out about five thousand artillery shellings, of which 93 were from MLRS.

Kovalyov noted that the enemy carried out airstrikes, particularly in the areas of the settlements of Veterynarne, Okhrimivka in the Kharkiv region, Kostyantynivka, Pokrovsk, Oleksiivka, Kostyantynopol, Bahatyr, Ivanopillya, Dniproenerhiya in the Donetsk region, and Hulyaipole in the Zaporizhzhya region.
