Russians cannot be forgiven, they are responsible for the invasion of Ukraine. And today Kyiv will try to convey this position to Trump’s representative, Keith Kellogg.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a briefing on Wednesday, February 19.

In particular, he was asked whether Ukraine understood the United States’ clear position regarding the end of the war in Ukraine, and whether the US understood Kyiv’s position on this issue.

“We must first and foremost consider what the people who are fighting the enemy think about this issue (ending the war – ed.). Only 1% of the population supports making all concessions to Russia. This is the answer to everything. This cannot be done; they are guilty. Russians (Russians – ed.) cannot be washed clean, like dirty money,” stated Zelenskyy.

According to the president, it is impossible to resolve the issue of ending the war with just "some documents," as no one in Ukraine trusts Putin. Ukraine needs clear security guarantees, which will be communicated to Keith Kellogg today.

However, Ukraine is ready for "serious documents" and is ready to sign an agreement on rare-earth metals.

“I want him (Keith Kellogg – ed.) to walk around Kyiv himself, look around, talk to people. See if they trust Putin. Let him also ask about Trump. What do Ukrainians think after the statements of their president,” the president noted.

Zelenskyy also added that he is ready to travel to the front with Kellogg, so he can ask the military himself if they are ready to just leave everything now, go home to vote in elections, and hand over all the positions at the front to the Russians.

The president also expressed concerns that the Trump administration is "softening its policy" towards Russia by calling the war "a violation of territorial integrity and conflict."

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine is doing everything to ensure that the war is called a war.
