Situation at the front: Defence Forces struck five enemy command posts

The Ukrainian military continues to inflict significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment. Over the past day, the Defence Forces hit five Russian command posts.

This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on February 24, 2025. 96 combat clashes were recorded over the past day.

Yesterday, the enemy launched three missile strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using four missiles, as well as 52 airstrikes, dropping 106 guided bombs. In addition, the enemy conducted over 5,000 shellings, including 145 with multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,250 kamikaze drones for attacks.

Over the past day, the missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces hit three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, five command posts, and one enemy UAV control post.

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russians tried twice to break through our units’ defensive lines towards Vovchansk and Zapadne.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted four attacks. Our defenders successfully repelled assaults in the areas of Petropavlivka, Zahrizove, and towards Bohuslavka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy conducted 15 attacks, trying to break through our defense near Torske, Novoyehorivka, Novolubivka, Yampolivka, Kuzmyne, as well as in the directions of Novo, Novoplatonivka, Shyykivka, Zelena Dolina, and Cherneshchyna.

In the Siversk direction, the Defence Forces repelled two occupier attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka and Ivano-Darivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, two combat clashes were recorded near Chasiv Yar and towards Oleksandro-Shultyne.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted nine attacks in the area of Toretsk and Krymske.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 22 assaults towards the settlements of Promin, Kotline, Andriivka, Bohdanivka, Ulakli, Novoserhiyivka, Molodetske, Leontovychi, Pokrovsk, Myroliubivka, and Vodyane Druhe.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy attacked 11 times yesterday in the directions of Kostyantynopil and Burlatske.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy conducted one assault on the Defense Forces’ positions in the Stepove area.

In the Hulyaipole and Prydniprovskyi directions, the enemy conducted no active actions over the past day.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.

Our troops continue the operation in the Kursk region. Over the past day, the enemy conducted 22 airstrikes, dropping 45 guided bombs, and fired 374 shellings, seven of which were from multiple launch rocket systems. Ukrainian defenders repelled 19 enemy assault attempts.
