The countries of the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8), which include Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden, have decided to provide Ukraine with 26 billion euros in military aid.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, thanked the partners for their support and emphasized that this cooperation is important for strengthening the defence capabilities of the country.

«This is a partnership that Ukraine is proud of. Thank you to our friends for their determination and unwavering support in the fight for freedom», — Zelenskyy noted.

The funds will be directed towards the procurement of modern weapons, ammunition, and the strengthening of the defensive capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
