Free Europe will not betray Ukraine, declared Johann Wadephul, deputy leader of the CDU-CSU party, following a dispute between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

"Footage from the White House is shocking. How can one stab in the back the president of a country that is under occupation? Free Europe will not betray Ukraine!" - he wrote on the social network X.
