The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation shelled the private sector of Kramatorsk: a young man was killed

On the night of March 1, Russian forces shelled the private sector of the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk region. As a result of this shelling, destruction occurred.

A young man born in 2006 was killed, and two more people were injured. This was reported by the head of the Kramatorsk city military administration, Oleksandr Honcharenko.

"On the night of March 1, Kramatorsk was subjected to enemy shelling - private sector. A young man born in 2006 was killed... Two other people were injured - a man and a woman. We are determining the consequences of the destruction and damage - all relevant services are working," the statement noted.

The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office specified that the strike on Kramatorsk using the FAB-250 with the UMPK module was inflicted by the Russians on March 1 at 22:15.

"As a result of the attack, an 18-year-old resident received life-incompatible injuries. A 34-year-old man and an 88-year-old pensioner were also injured. They were diagnosed with mine-explosive and closed head injuries, fractures, facial injuries, and bruises. The victims received medical assistance. During the shelling, they were at their place of residence," the region’s prosecutor’s office noted.

Currently, prosecutors are documenting the consequences of enemy attacks on the civilian population. Under the procedural guidance of the Kramatorsk district prosecutor’s office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in criminal proceedings for committing a war crime (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
