Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups have intensified their activities in two districts of the Sumy region, - RMA

This information was reported on television by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artyukh.

"Recently, the use of sabotage groups by the enemy has intensified, particularly in the territory of the Shostka and Sumy districts. And we know that this will continue," Artyukh emphasized.

He noted that the Regional Military Administration has warned the local population about the situation.

"Yesterday, there was a meeting of the Sumy Regional Defence Council, and as a result, we conveyed this information to the people so that they are prepared and can avoid possible zones of enemy sabotage groups," added Artyukh.

According to the head of the region, 43,000 people have been evacuated from the Sumy area, including over 7,000 children.

From the settlements designated for mandatory and forced evacuation, all children have been relocated deeper into the territory of the Sumy region or to other regions of Ukraine.
