U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will be in Saudi Arabia from March 10 to 12, where he will participate in negotiations with a Ukrainian delegation.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the U.S. Department of State, Tammy Bruce.
“Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from March 10 to 12 for negotiations with Ukrainian colleagues to advance President (Trump’s – ed.) goal of ending the Russian-Ukrainian war,” she noted.
Bruce added that while in Jeddah, Rubio will also meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud to discuss “ways to advance mutual interests in the region and strengthen U.S.-Saudi relations.”
According to her, from March 12 to 14, the Secretary will be in Charlevoix, Canada, meeting with his fellow foreign ministers from the G7 countries.
“Rubio’s participation will promote U.S. interests in peace and security, strategic cooperation, and global stability. Discussions will focus on conflicts in the Middle East and Europe, cooperation in Africa and the Indo-Pacific region, and stability in the Western Hemisphere,” summarized Bruce.
