At night, the Russian Federation launched more than 170 unmanned aerial vehicles: 130 drones were shot down, simulation ones were lost locationally

During the night of Monday, March 10, the Defence Forces shot down over Ukraine 130 various drones launched by war criminals from Russia. As a result of the attack, the Kharkiv, Poltava, and Kyiv regions were affected.

Meanwhile, dozens of enemy UAVs, which were simulation drones, caused no harm thanks to the air defense systems. This attack lasted from 18:00 the previous day, as reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It was recorded that this time the aggressor attacked Ukraine with 176 Shahed-type strike UAVs and various simulation UAVs from the directions of: Shatalovo, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), Cape Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).

The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

Overall, the defenders shot down 130 Russian drones in 15 regions: Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson.

Meanwhile, 42 enemy simulation drones were lost without consequences.

The Poltava Regional State Administration reported that due to the fall of UAVs, three residential buildings, a farm structure, a passenger car, agricultural machinery, and a household power line were damaged in the Poltava district.

In the village of Pokrovsk in the Kharkiv region, due to the impact of two Shahed-type UAVs, a building of a poultry farm slaughterhouse and refrigeration units were damaged. In the village of Verkhnozoryanske, also due to the impact of two drones, a fire broke out on the premises of an agricultural enterprise, damaging a hangar and vehicles.

During the night, 14 Shaheds were shot down in the Sumy region, and over Dnipropetrovsk, two enemy drones were destroyed.
