Ukraine will not accept a ceasefire on land, stated Serhiy Leshchenko, advisor to the head of the Presidential Office.

According to him, American aid is not so critical as to halt military actions on terms that are "imposed" on Ukraine.

"He (Trump) says: is there a plan for a ceasefire? We respond that we have a plan for a ceasefire. We propose to cease fire from the sky. This means drones, missiles, ballistics. We also propose to cease fire at sea. We commit not to attack. This is, by the way, paradoxical. After all, in the Black Sea, the initiative is in our hands. We also propose not to attack the energy sector. You want a ceasefire—we are ready. But not on land, where Putin can take a ceasefire for several months: to heal the wounded, recruit infantry in North Korea—and resume this war," Leshchenko stated on a telethon broadcast.

He notes that 70% of Ukrainian Armed Forces’ losses occur with the involvement of drones (and according to this logic, Kyiv’s proposal should be advantageous for Russia).

It should be noted that this statistic does not concern long-range drones, the use of which Zelenskyy proposes to ban, but rather FPV drones, which are used on the front line against equipment and personnel. Their use cannot be stopped without a general land ceasefire, which Kyiv opposes.

Meanwhile, Zelenskyy’s proposal annuls Russia’s advantage, as it has more missiles and drones for long-range strikes on Ukraine.
