In the Zaporizhzhya region, the last child was evacuated from a front-line village
Police evacuated the last child, 16-year-old Alina Abdulayeva, and her 64-year-old mother from the frontline village of Omelnyk in the Zaporizhzhya region.
This was reported by the communication department of the police of the Zaporizhzhya region.
«In the village, nine families with minors used to live. Today, there is not a single one left – we have evacuated all of them to safe places,» said Serhiy Blid, deputy head of department No. 4 of the Polohy District Police Department of the National Police in the Zaporizhzhya region.

Overall, the police noted that before the full-scale invasion, five hundred people lived in Omelnyk. Now, only 130 residents remain. Recently, due to the intensity of shelling, the situation in the village has significantly worsened.
The police also informed that the Abdulayev family had already fled from the shelling to the regional center but later returned. Now, the decision to evacuate was made after a Russian air bomb targeted and hit a neighboring property last week: the 49-year-old owner died under the rubble, and his 46-year-old wife was injured.
