Iceland has contributed an additional over 2 million euros to the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine
The Icelandic government has allocated an additional over 2 million euros to the Ukrainian Energy Support Fund.
This information was published by the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
"Iceland has contributed over 2 million euros to the Ukrainian Energy Support Fund, increasing the country’s total contribution to more than 5.6 million euros," the statement says.
It is noted that during 2023-2024, the country made four contributions to the Energy Support Fund. The funds were directed towards purchasing equipment for fuel and energy sector enterprises in the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya, and Kherson regions.
