The situation at the front: 146 combat engagements in the past day, active battles in several directions

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, releasing operational information as of 08:00 on Friday, March 14.

"A total of 146 combat engagements occurred during the past day," the message states.

The General Staff specifies that on the Kharkiv direction, the enemy conducted offensive actions five times towards the settlements of Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe, and Doroshivka.

In the Kupyansk direction, there were three attacks by the occupiers. The Defence Forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions near Holubivka, Zahrizove, and Bohuslavka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy resorted to 15 attacks. They attempted to advance near Torske, Yampilivka, and in the direction of Zelena Dolyna, Hryhorivka, Novy, Novomykhailivka.

In the Siversk direction, defenders repelled seven assaults by occupying forces near the settlements of Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamyanske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, there was one combat engagement in the area of Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy conducted 14 attacks near the settlements of Toretsk, Krymske, and Druzhba.

In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 49 assaults by the aggressor in areas near the settlements of Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Novoserhiyivka, Kotlyarivka, Oleksiivka, Andriivka.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy tried five times in vain to break through near the areas of Kostyantynopil and Burlatske.

In the Hulyaipole direction, there were eight combat engagements with the enemy in the areas of the settlements of Novosilka, Rivnopil, Vilne Pole, and Novopil.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy conducted 12 offensive actions in the areas of Stepove, Pyatykhatky, Shcherbaky, Kamianske, and in the directions of Novoandriivka and Mala Tokmachka.

No offensive actions were detected in the Prydniprovskyi direction.

Simultaneously, in the operational zone in the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 22 attacks by Russian invaders yesterday. Additionally, the enemy conducted 37 aerial strikes using 54 guided aerial bombs and fired 203 artillery shells at our troops’ positions and settlements, including three from multiple rocket launchers.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, signs of enemy offensive group formations were not detected.

The General Staff adds that the enemy delivered 103 airstrikes on Ukrainian units’ positions and settlements, dropping 154 guided bombs. Additionally, the Russians carried out about six thousand shellings, including 166 from multiple rocket launchers, and engaged 2509 kamikaze drones for strikes.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine specify that the aggressor conducted airstrikes, particularly in the areas of the settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Hraniv, Bezruky in Kharkiv region; Pokrovsk, Oleksandropil, Hrodivka, Sukhyi Yar, Novopavlivka, Zvirove, Leontovychi, Oleksiivka, Voskresenka, Shevchenko, Bahatyr, Vesele, Vilne Pole, Novopil in Donetsk region; Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Zapasne, Shchaslyve, Novoivanivka, Lezhyne in Zaporizhzhya region; Lviv in Kherson region.

"In the last day, the aviation, rocket forces, and artillery of the Defence Forces conducted strikes on 13 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, five artillery systems, and one ammunition depot of the Russian invaders," the ministry added.
