Zelenskyy: Finland will become the leader of the coalition for building shelters in Ukraine

On Wednesday, March 19, Ukraine and Finland will sign an agreement that will initiate the formation of a new coalition for the construction of shelters in Ukraine.

This information was shared by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a press conference with the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb.

"Finland has substantial expertise, which is very beneficial for all of Europe, especially at the borders with Russia and Belarus, in the construction of shelters. Today, we discussed how this expertise can be shared. A civil protection coalition led by Finland is extremely important for us," remarked Zelenskyy.

He noted that on March 19, the ministers of Ukraine and Finland would sign a document that initiates this coalition.

The President also expressed his gratitude to Finland for its willingness to assist in the construction of shelters in Ukraine and for its aim to involve others in Europe in this effort.
