Russian military sources reported the downing of an F-16: Ihnat called the information fake

Russian military public pages claimed that an F-16 fighter jet was shot down over the Sumy region, asserting that this was achieved using the S-400 system, with a Su-35 guiding the target.

However, the former speaker of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat refuted the information, calling it fake.

In response to this, MP Maryana Bezuhla did not rule out that the fact of the downing might be true. It should be noted that yesterday Ukrainian public pages published footage of F-16 flights over the Sumy region, which is confirmed by the operation of these aircraft in this area in recent days.
