The situation at the front: the enemy is actively attacking in the Pokrovsk direction, 281 occupiers have been eliminated

As of the evening of March 19, there were 127 combat engagements on the front. The enemy is most actively operating in the Pokrovsk direction.

This was reported on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, since the beginning of the day, the Russian invaders have launched one missile strike using one missile and 57 airstrikes, employing 84 GABs. In addition, they engaged 973 kamikaze drones for attacks and conducted over 4,500 shellings on Ukrainian positions and settlements.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy assaulted the positions of our units in the areas of Vovchansk and Dvorichna. The defense forces successfully repelled five enemy attempts to advance.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy conducted six offensive actions near Zahryzove and Petropavlivka. Ukrainian units have already stopped five enemy attacks, and one engagement is ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders stormed the Defence Forces’ positions 13 times near Yampolivka and towards the settlements of Nove, Novomykhailivka, and Zelena Dolyna. Three engagements are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy attempted one assault on our units’ positions in the vicinity of the settlement of Verkhnokam’yanske, and the attack was repelled.

Since the beginning of the day in the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked towards Oleksandro-Shultyno, Minkivka, and Novomarkove; three Russian attempts to displace our defenders from their positions were unsuccessful, and one engagement is still ongoing.

There were 16 engagements today in the Toretsk direction. The enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Krymske, Toretsk, Dachne, and Diliivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the start of this day, the enemy attacked 44 times in the areas of the settlements of Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Kotlyne, Zvyrove, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Oleksiivka, Valentynivka, Andriyivka, and towards Serhiyivka.

Our defenders repelled 39 assaults, with five additional engagements continuing to this moment. CAB airstrikes hit Zorya, Nova Poltavka, Hrodivka, and Pokrovsk.

Preliminary data indicates that 281 invaders were neutralized in this direction today, 152 of whom were irreversibly eliminated. Additionally, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed a tank, three BMPs, two satellite communication terminals, a cannon, two vehicles, a mortar, seven motorcycles, and five UAV control points; they also damaged one tank, two BMPs, and a vehicle of the Russian invaders.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 invader attacks in the areas of Pryvilne and Kostyantynopol.

In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted three times to advance towards Novooleksandrivka. Russian terrorist aviation struck the areas of the settlements of Velykomykhailivka and Zelene Pole.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven attacks in the area of Stepove and towards the settlements of Lobkove and Shcherbaky. The enemy dropped GABs near Yasna Polyana, Blakytnyi, and Novoivanivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions but did carry out airstrikes in the areas of Burhunka and Virivka.

In the Kursk region, the Defence Forces repelled 18 assault actions by Russian invaders, with three attacks still ongoing. Additionally, the enemy conducted 18 airstrikes using 20 GABs and carried out 290 shellings, 11 of which were conducted with MLRS.
