The death of Deputy Plakhotnik: "Batkivshchyna" talks about a contract killing

Representative of the All-Ukrainian Union "Batkivshchyna" Volodymyr Fedorov confirmed the death of Oleksandr Plakhotnik, whose body was found on the roadside near the city of Kamyanske in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The representative of the political force voiced the first version of the tragic incident.

Fedorov’s comment regarding deputy Plakhotnik was published by the media outlet "Suspilne".

The media reported that they received a brief statement from the representative of "Batkivshchyna". Volodymyr Fedorov stated that the person whose death was reported by the National Police in the morning was a member of the political force and former vice-mayor of the city of Kamyanske, Plakhotnik. According to him, the party is preparing an appeal regarding the event. The journalist’s interlocutor also voiced one of the crime’s versions. In Fedorov’s opinion, it is a contract killing.

"We believe this is a contract killing, we are all shocked, we are preparing information on this matter," he said.

There are currently no comments on the murder of the deputy, a party member, on the portal and social networks of the All-Ukrainian Union "Batkivshchyna". It also has not been possible to find a reaction from the leader of the political force, Yuliya Tymoshenko.
