AFU: The occupiers are trying to attack in the Kupyansk area with small infantry groups

At the moment, Russian forces on the Kupyansk direction are operating in small infantry groups without the use of large armored vehicles.

This was reported by Andriy Rubtsov, head of the communications department of the 116th separate mechanized brigade, on Army TV broadcast in the evening of April 4th.

According to him, it involves 2-3 individuals from the enemy’s side who attempt to approach the positions of the Defence Forces, but thanks to the coordinated work of our servicemen, the Russians are unsuccessful.

In particular, the host asked about the nature of the mining and engineer obstacles in this direction, and also clarified whether the enemy’s manpower or robotic complexes are being used to plant mines.

"At the moment, enemy manpower is being used, but from time to time remote mining is employed," the military officer replied.

He also added that the enemy continues to exert pressure, but the Defence Forces manage to give a worthy response.
