In Odesa, a girl was robbing drivers through a fake parking payment website
In Odesa, a 23-year-old resident created a fake parking payment website and defrauded five citizens for a total amount of 22,700 hryvnias.
This was reported by the Main Department of the National Police in the Odesa region.

According to the report, five Odesa residents contacted law enforcement, claiming that funds had disappeared from their bank accounts. Thanks to swift actions, the police identified the involvement of a 23-year-old Odesa woman in the fraudulent scheme.
The young woman created a replica of the parking payment website in Odesa, placing a QR code for accessing this site near one of the parking lots in the Peresypskyi district. This site was visually indistinguishable from the official one.
Users entered their bank card information, believing they were paying for parking. After gaining access to their accounts, the fraudster transferred funds to her own card. The amounts transferred ranged from 4,000 to 5,100 hryvnias, with a total stolen amount of 22,700 hryvnias.
The police seized evidence, including a mobile phone, laptop, and bank card. The woman has been charged under Part 4 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — fraud committed using electronic means.
She has currently confessed to her crime and compensated the victims for their losses. She faces a punishment of up to eight years in prison.
