DeepState: The Ministry of Defence approved the operation of new Ukrainian UAVs

Ukrainian V-1 drones have successfully undergone codification at the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and are now authorized for use. They are capable of staying airborne for extended periods and are designed for the effective elimination of enemy personnel as well as armored vehicles. In addition, the new UAVs can carry various types of munitions.

Analysts from the DeepState project reported on the features of the new Ukrainian strike UAVs on April 15.

"Another step forward for our army. The ultralight strike UAVs have already proven their effectiveness on the battlefield," the message states.

This is how analysts described the news from the Ministry of Defence about the deployment of V-1 drones.

What distinguishes the new Ukrainian drones

It is noted that these UAVs have several advantages that will aid Ukrainian defenders on the battlefield. Among them:

  • multifunctionality: the drones can effectively destroy both enemy personnel and armored vehicles and transport;
  • ability to operate effectively both on the front line and in the near rear of the enemy;
  • capability of remaining airborne for an extended time — the Ministry of Defence states that the drones can stay airborne for several hours;
  • silence and ultralightness — V-1 UAVs are equipped with low-noise powerful engines;
  • high resistance to enemy electronic warfare systems (EW).

Additionally, analysts note that the systems used to launch the Ukrainian V-1 drones have another important feature — mobility.

"The key advantage of the system is its mobility — rapid deployment and redeployment minimize risks for the crew," DeepState notes.
