Yuriy Atamanyuk is trying to "whitewash" his biography after corruption scandals

Former tax official during Yanukovych’s era, Yuriy Atamanyuk, who previously worked in the tax police for over 20 years, is actively attempting to "clean up" materials related to his past activities, including facts about transferring millions of dollars abroad during the war.

According to Polish customs officials, Atamanyuk attempted to take almost 3 million dollars in cash out of the country.

Yuriy Atamanyuk was lustrated in 2015 in accordance with the Law "On Purification of Government," which prohibited him from approaching public service until 2025. Since then, he has worked in the NGO "Association of Taxpayers of Ukraine" as the first vice-president.

Despite attempts to remove negative materials about himself, Atamanyuk has been unable to clear his name in search engines, and his biography continues to raise questions among the public.
