In the Verkhovna Rada, it was revealed when the agreement with the USA on subsoil resources might be ratified

On Thursday, May 1, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal is set to present to the parliamentary factions of the Verkhovna Rada an agreement on minerals signed between Ukraine and the USA, reported the People’s Deputy from the "Holos" party, Yaroslav Zheleznyak. At the same time, he mentioned the exact date of the document’s ratification in the parliament approximately.

"As for the ratification of the Agreement, it definitely won’t happen today. Not even this week or next week," Zheleznyak explained.

According to him, the nearest possible date is May 13-15. And this is assuming that all necessary documents are submitted to the parliament by that time. Zheleznyak explained that international agreements have special procedures that are difficult to expedite.

"And today, the Prime Minister should come to the Rada and present it to the factions. Because the collection of votes is only just beginning," added the People’s Deputy.
