Russians stated that Ukraine carried out an attack using "447 drones and missiles"

On the evening of May 6 and the night of May 7, Ukraine reportedly launched more than 447 long-range drones and missiles at the Russian Federation. The Russians complained about the largest attack on their territory.

The relevant statistics were published on Wednesday morning by one of the popular propaganda Telegram channels. Officially, Moscow does not report how many aerial targets were detected over the country and how many were shot down; usually, such data is published only by local authorities (who almost always report the elimination of "all" drones/missiles launched by Ukraine over the region).

The Russian propagandist claims that Ukraine had been preparing for such intense shelling for a long time.

"Most likely, mass attacks will continue throughout the weekend," the Russian suggested.

Preliminarily, defense industry enterprises were attacked on the territory of the Russian Federation:

– In the Republic of Mordovia: "Saransk Cable" and "Saransk Cable-Optics" plants;

– In the Tula region: JSC "Instrument Design Bureau" and the scientific-production association "Splav";

– In the Moscow region: "Kubinka" and "Shaikovka" airfields.

In more than 30 Russian cities, mobile internet was disconnected due to the threat of drone attacks. Disruptions were observed in populated areas of the Yaroslavl, Tver, Moscow, Nizhniy Novgorod, Tula, Leningrad, Kaluga, and Kursk regions. There were also issues for some subscribers in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Mobile internet was almost completely disconnected in Saransk and some other cities of Mordovia.

Later, the Russian Ministry of Defence claimed that they allegedly shot down "524 Ukrainian drones, five Neptune missiles, six JDAM bombs, and two HIMARS shells" over the territory of Russia within a day.
