Losses in the hundreds of millions: Top managers of "Zaporizhzhyaoblenergo" exposed in tariff schemes

The Bureau of Economic Security, together with the Security Service of Ukraine, exposed the management of JSC "Zaporizhzhyaoblenergo", who over five years caused the state enterprise losses exceeding 730 million hryvnias.

The investigation established that in one of the contracts, the officials deliberately indicated the wrong voltage class, resulting in consumers paying for electricity distribution at a rate nine times lower.

As a result of these actions, the state enterprise did not receive hundreds of millions of hryvnias. Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to identify all those involved in the scheme.
